About Me

The Emerson Family: Gresham, Oregon; Our children are precious, amazing, maddening gifts from God. Unfortunately I have gotten caught up "dealing with" my girls & their insane behaviors and energy and have missed being "with them", enjoying all God has made them to be. This blog is simply a journal of sorts, a way to remind myself what life can be like when I slow down, stop being selfish, look into their little faces and have fun! There is no prefect in parenthood..or person-hood for that matter...however I think what we have is God's best given for us to enjoy & embrace. My prayer is that on the really tough days when food is flying and Mommy is having a hard time practicing her self control, I can look at this & be reminded of what life is about: Loving God and loving people, especially the tiny little people He has entrusted me with:)
